Teach Yourself the Double Push
A step-by-step guide for developing the ultimate inline speed skating stroke

There are lots of ways to learn the double push. You can watch videos, read manuals, attend clinics, or train with skilled double-pushers.

Here's another way to learn this powerful speed-skating stroke: follow this 9-step program.

You can do it on-skate or off. But you'll find it easier starting with shoes and moving to skates after you've mastered the fall.

Once you're comfortable with the exercises, try doing them while rolling forward slowly. Then speed it up, and you've got the double push.
