Sunday Rollers
The latest additions to the Group Skate Mapper are both Sunday morning events. The Sunday Bladers in St. Petersburg, FL, greet the day with a social skate and brunch. The Predators speed team in Phoenix, AZ, holds an open practice on open roads.

During the summer, Tucson skaters start their Sunday Morning Skate at 7 a.m. to beat the withering heat. But once fall arrives, they sleep another hour. ... The weekly Arizona event is the latest addition to the Group Skate Mapper.

Skating With Wolves
Now's you're chance to skate Grand Teton National Park. As of tonight, cars will be banished from the park for the winter and the interior roads will become havens for walkers, cyclists and skaters. The roads aren't the smoothest, but the scenery is unbeatable. Just get there before the snow starts falling.

Paved Trails Planned for Pittsburgh Park
As part of a $25 million renovation, paved trails for cycling and inline skating will be added to Point State Park. The 36-acre park in downtown Pittsburgh overlooks the confluence of the Ohio, Allegheny and Monongahela rivers.

Those Lucky Floridians!
No wonder Florida produces so many great skaters (e.g. Joey Mantia and Jennifer Rodriguez). The state boasts some of the best facilities anywhere, including the amazing Brian Piccolo Park Velodrome in Cooper City. Aside from the tracks, there's a 4K criterium course, site of a weekly Sunday morning marathon.

Ind. Trail Needs Help
Half finished, the planned 17-mile Pumpkinvine Trail in north central Indiana is already providing some great rolling for skaters. But there's lots left to do. Want to help? Join the Friends of the Trail, which raises money and awareness for this great resource.
