Climbing - Flanders' Martha Flynn of St. Paul, Minn., reaches the top of one of the many hills on the rolling racecourse outside Hayward. Just behind her is Team Rainbo's Margo Carvell of Northfield, Ill. Flynn finished first among the pro master women with a time of 1 hour, 29 minutes and 19 seconds. Carvell finished about a tenth of a second behind her to take third in the division.
