Hawking for the Win

Hyper's Jessica Smith (center) stabs her skate across the finish line to claim the victory in the Seoul World Inline cup. She finished just inches ahead of Rollerblade's Angele Vaudan (left). Rollerblade's Laura Lardani (right) finished third. Smith, 22, of Melvindale, Mich., said she only expects to skate a handful of World Inline Cup races this year. However, she plans to try for a spot on the U.S. World Team.
