Skaters in the News:

Lenin Goes for a Roll

By Planet staff
Monday, Oct. 22, 2007

You never know who you'll see next on inline skates!

The painting "Lenin on Rollerskates (Who Put the Revolution on Ice?)" features the Russian revolutionary doing a little blading.

It is one of ten works by the English graffiti artist Banksy that will be auctioned Wednesday.

The painting (spray paint on canvas) is expected to fetch ₤20,000-30,000, or $40,000-60,000 (USD). It is being auctioned by Bonhams in Knightsbridge.

Now if we could only persuade the old boy to wear a helmet.
