LTN’S “Dialed In” TO FEATURE GRAVITY SPORTS RACING

Los Angeles—The International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) announced today that Los Angeles’ own Local Television Network (LTN) will broadcast exclusive coverage of the IGSA California Downhill Series event that was held November 12 at Bonelli Park.

LTN will feature the racing on its Dialed In program on Wednesday, November 23 at 10:00pm PST. A rebroadcast is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30 at 10:30pm PST. The “Dialed In” film crew spent the entire day capturing the event for the Southern California action sports lifestyle show. Athletes raced in Downhill Skateboarding, Street Luge, Downhill Inline Skating and Gravity Bike competitions in this International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) sanctioned event.

“We’re really excited to have the LTN Network covering our Regional event”, said IGSA President Marcus Rietema. “Hopefully it will encourage more racers from the Los Angeles area to compete and inspire spectators to come out and see live gravity sports racing,” he added.

Professional surfing champions Christian Fletcher and Amy Cobb host “Dialed In”. Together they explore the action sports scene in Southern California from surfing and moto-x to skateboarding and various other sports. The LTN Network reaches 3.7 million of the 5 million homes in the greater Los Angeles area. It is broadcast over the air on KVMD Channel 23, via satellite on Dish Network and Direct TV, and on cable through Adelphia, Charter and in some Time Warner territories. LTN is targeting 18-34 year olds with programs on sports, fashion, travel and social activities.

The IGSA is an international sanctioning body for gravity racing sports, athletes and events, featuring a 7-race World Cup Championship Series for 2006. IGSA events involve head to head downhill racing competitions where participants routinely reach speeds in excess of 65 mph as they hurtle themselves down mountain roads negotiating ninety degree bends and hairpin corners. The IGSA California Downhill Series is a six-race championship held at Frank G. Bonelli Park in San Dimas, California. Events are held on two separate courses during the season lasting from January through November.
