Interview with Rollerblade's Nick Skally

Postby Robert on Sat Oct 23, 2004 8:52 pm

Rollerblade has been through a lot lately. The move to New Jersey. The downturn in the market. The sale to Tecnica. So how is it doing? ... That's what we asked Rollerblade's Nick Skally during a Planet Interview. And we liked what we heard! Aside from his upbeat assessment of the market, he let us in on Rollerblade's exciting 2005 product line, which includes four BIG wheel skates AND women's specific protective gear! It's clear this company is not ready to give up its title as the inline instigator.

So what do you think? ... Is Rollerblade telling us what we want to hear?

Good interview Robert! :D

I like what Rollerblade is doing at the moment.
I have a pair of Aero 7 Alu's which I am very happy with. But I am also a fanatic speedskater! The past few years Rollerblade has not been very active in the expert speedskate market. The lightning series is nice for fitness, but I really missed something like the ProBlade they have now. The Road Runner was very out of date...

Keep them interviews coming :!:

Good Interview Robert !!

RB's focus point (espesially in USA) is very clear for me.
However, I want to know abot RB's focus point in EU.

In EU, there are a lot of fitness skater like in USA.
Moreover, there are a lot of free style slalomer and almost slalomer use RB skate (Twister +).

If you have a chance, please hear to RB people about this point.
