Knee Pain

i have noticed a long time ago that if i skate for say 5 mins and i sit on the grass or anything and i bend my knee i have pain on my knee cap... i was wonding if anyone else has had the same pain and could tell me if its something with skating or worse

Hi; years ago I had persistent knee pain you have described and a chiorpractor introduced me to glucosamine 1500 mg a day and have had wonderful results NO PAIN . It has been proven by everybody to be truly effective. Everybody is different and hopefully this easy to solve ,give it a try it takes a few weeks to kick in. Good Luck

Google "patellofemoral syndrome", "runner's knee", "theater sign".

I'd get it looked at. Notice that getting stronger legs, or better fitted skates, can hide the problem.

(I'd also bring a soft knee brace to skates).
