67 days 13 hour 45 minutes. That's a new world record.

Thank you, Team Fast, for coming and joining me for the final run. It meant more than you understand.

I'll start to fill in some of the details tomorrow"

Danny had forgot to adjust for differences in time zones and daylight saving time. He sent me a couple of note to explain the situations:

11:09 p.m.
Robert,

We are finished. 67 days, 13 hours, 45 minutes. I beat the record by 43 hours.

Danny

11:37 p.m.
Robert,

Correction. 67 days 10 hours and 45 minutes. I forgot to schedule in PST to EST. We started at 9am on Jan 1. We finished at 10:45 March 8th.

Danny

So apparently he's final time was 67 days, 10 hours and 45 minutes, which would beat the old record by 46 hours ... I think.

Either way, congratulations Danny and Hillary!

Thanks for all of the support. I was quite delirious at the end, and doing math was not one of my strong points. I really appreciate having Team FAST there at the end. They help me keep my bearings and focus so that I could finish. What a great group of skaters.

WTG Dan! Wow, I'm just amazed, especially after skating a marathon this morning and being beat right now. Your accomplishment floors me, I can't imagine how you did it. You are the man.

Congratulations Danny what a wonderful accomplishment and a huge success! Congrats to Hilary for seeing it through and standing by your husband through all of this. Enjoy your first home cooked meal and hot bath at home in a long time. Wow and I used to think a2a was a long way, to cross the country and finish in world class time is amazing!
Am sure skaters all over the world are looking at you with a smile and gasp at your feat or was that your feet!!! Way to go!

CONGRATS! That's incredible! I'm in awe...I just did 50 continuous miles on Saturday (I know - nothing for you A2A'ers!) in anticipation of 100 continuous miles I'm going to skate as a sponsored fundraiser for a friend who has Leukemia and I was starting to get scared, but your accomplishment makes me feel better . Way to GO!

Yes, I am crazy

Danny says he's gonna do it again, but this time use softer wheels and off-road skates. ... Apparently, skating that many miles, day after day, is too hard on your body using standard equipment. ... It looked like from one photo I saw that he finished the skate using K2 Radicals. I don't know what happened to his Bonts?

Here's Danny's wrapup story:
